Hot Wheels Cars Debuted at San Diego Comic-Con
Hot Wheels have been teasing us for a couple of weeks with the new Star Wars Character Cars and now that Comic-Con is here, they’re showing off more of the lineup.
Along with the cars they’ve already shown, the character car line will also include C-3PO and a Stormtrooper. There will also be some 2-packs that will have exclusive cars in them and a 5-pack that has an alternate deco Stormtrooper exclusive.

There will also be a line of eight cars available as a one wave Walmart exclusive. These are cars that already exist in the Hot Wheels catalog but will be decorated with Star Wars logos and graphics. There is one car for each Saga film and one each for The Clone Wars and Rebels. The card backs are decorated with movie poster art or art from the television show.

Star Wars themed playsets and tracks for the cars will be available later in the year with all of the above releases. Hot Wheels is not yet showing off the die-cast ships from the films but they are still due for an early 2015 release.
