Free Comic Book Day Saturday May 3rd

Free Comic Book Day is always the first Saturday in May and that means we’re just a work week away from the 2014 event.  There are over 50 comics for this year’s event from publishers such as Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, IDW and Valiant.  A full list can be found on the Free Comic Book Website.

Dark Horse is not offering a Star Wars comic this year but IDW does have a Transformers vs G.I. Joe crossover book available and Marvel hits us with both a Guardians of the Galaxy title and Rocket Raccoon.  Also be on the lookout for the hardcover Mouse Guard book from Archaia and the Flash Gordon comic from Hermes Press which reprints a classic story from the Sunday paper.
