Hasbro New York Comic Con Panel

On Thursday we attended the New York Comic Con Hasbro Star Wars panel where the team showed off photos of some upcoming releases in both the Black Series 6″ and 4″ lines. We also saw some new Galactic Heroes toys and learned some new information about the Scarif Stormtroopers.

At Hasbro’s Twas the Night Before event on Wednesday, media guests had a look at upcoming Black Series 6″ figures which include Director Krennic, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe, C-3PO, the Scarif Stormtrooper and more.  During the presentation we saw photos of several of those figures along with a new Darth Vader and updated information on the Scarif Trooper rankings.  The Scarif Trooper, also known as the Shoretrooper, will have a regular Trooper with a more plain deco, the Squad Leader adds blue deco to the tops of the shoulder pauldrons and chest armor, and the Captain features additional blue deco further down the chest armor and a yellow deco on the left arm covering (photo is of the presentation slide).

In the 4″ line, Thrawn, Leia, a new Rey, Chirrut, Cassian Andor, and Krennic were shown Wednesday night.  The panel presentation added a new Scarif Trooper, Bodhi Rook, Admiral Raddus, and Jyn in Imperial Ground Crew disguise to the announced releases coming soon. We also had another look at the upcoming 4-pack with Jyn, Hover Tank Driver, Edrio Two Tubes, and Saw Gerrera.

Rounding out the panel were some new Galactic Heroes sets including 2-packs with Kylo Ren & Rey and Chewbacca & TIE Pilot. There’s also an updated AT-AT with AT-AT Driver.
