Sideshow Tauntaun Coming Along Nicely

Way back in 2011, Sideshow had concept art for a 1:6 scale tauntaun that they showed off during a San Diego Comic-Con panel.  Yesterday, as part of their online SDCC event, they teased two new production photos of Luke Skywalker’s mount from The Empire Strikes Back.

The scale and detail look amazing and the paint applications, shown being applied, are very rich and detailed.  For shear size, Sideshow’s Dewback is an impressive piece, but the tauntaun may be a real gem for fans.
