Sideshow – Snowtrooper and Obi-Wan Kenobi

Apparently we should just make July Sideshow Collectibles Month. After yesterday’s Jango Fett bust sale, last night they previewed a new Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi from The Phantom Menace and today, more pre-orders!

We were teased with photos of a Snowtrooper so we knew it was coming but it was a surprise to see it today and, there’s an accessory; an E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster! First, the Snowtrooper.

Available in regular and exclusive versions, the Snowtrooper is $149.99 and has a payment plan available. The regular edition will have a non-refundable deposit of $15 charged for each item ordered if you order 2 or more. Both are scheduled for a January 2013 release. The exclusive item is a vintage Kenner styled Blaster Rifle.

The biggest surprise is the E-Web Heavy Repeating Blaster. Also $149.99, and scheduled for January 2013, the E-Web is being offered with the payment plan and a deposit when ordering multiples. Scaled to go with the Snowtrooper, the canon includes the power box and connecting hose and can be positioned in a couple different ways.

If you’re an Imperial fan or, especially, a fan of the battle on Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back, both the Snowtrooper and E-Web should make excellent additions to your collection. We can only hope a Hoth Rebel Soldier isn’t far behind.
