New York Comic Con – Hallmark

Hallmark attended New York Comic Con again this year and brought along a couple exclusive ornaments.  For Star Wars, the shared exclusive was the 4-LOM and Zuckuss bounty hunter set.  Limited to 1,800 pieces, the ornament was also offered at San Diego Comic-Con.  They also offered a Battlestar Galactica Cylon and The Dark Knight Returns Batman.

They showed off new 2013 ornaments along with currently available items such as the newly released Darth Vader Peekbuster.  They even had a Santa Vader attend the show so that fans could have a photo taken with him.

Hallmark also teamed up with Marvel to help wish Spider-Man a happy 50th birthday by trying to break a Guinness World Record for “Most Contributions to a Greeting Card.”  Attendees could sign a sticker that was then applied to the 6′ by 8′ birthday card.  Friend of the Holocron, Joe K, and I signed but not word yet on if they were able to break the record.
