SDCC Carbonite Chamber with Jar Jar SDCC Carbonite Chamber Box

 

Yesterday, Hasbro released high resolution photos of all their San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives, including Star Wars, G.I. Joe, Transformers and Marvel.  As you recall, Hasbro will have a Carbonite Chamber exclusive that includes six figures on card backs that were originally proposed by Kenner back in the ’80’s.  The seventh figure is Jar Jar in Carbonite and he’s on a Vintage Collection card back.

While Jar Jar will remain an SDCC exclusive, the other six figures, one from each film in the Saga, will be available at retail later this year on both the Kenner card and the current Vintage Collection card.  No new price has been released for this set but when it was announced at Toy Fair it was estimated to be about $70.  This year’s San Diego Comic-Con runs from July 12 – 15th.
