Celebration VI Lego Booth

Lego Boba Fett Slave ILego is one of the top license holders for Star Wars merchandise and they had a large booth at Celebration.  They showed off their newest 2012 sets and had a store that was full of the latest and greatest, including some online exclusives.

During the course of the weekend they held a raffle for a large minifigure of Darth Maul made out of basic bricks and sold an exclusive Boba Fett and Slave I set in their store.  Visitors to the booth could build pieces of a giant Darth Maul bust or just watch some of the excellent Lego animated shorts on the big screen.

Although we didn’t get photos of it, there was a large Lego area across the hall from the booth where, each day, the dioramas were cleared off and started over so that kids could build large playsets.  There were also free build areas and a huge pile of Duplo bricks that kids could enjoy.  We’ve said it before, but for our money, Lego is probably the best toy on the market right now and at Celebration, they were one of the highlights for fans of all ages.
