The 2015 Lego Advent Calendar Has Arrived

As we’ve done the past couple of years, we’ll be taking a look at the Lego Advent calendar as we count down to Christmas.  This year’s calendar features Original Trilogy characters and vehicles with some fan favorites such as R2-D2 and C-3PO making an appearance.

Today we’re looking at the box and both Day 1 and Day 2 of the builds with Day 1 being Jabba’s Sail Barge and today being the Sarlacc pit.  For simple builds, the Barge turned out well but could have been a little more elaborate.  We like that you can display them together to get a whole scene.

This year’s box, when opened, features a good mix of Tatooine, Endor and Hoth designs which go well with the figures and ships in the set.
