Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar #75056

Lego has released their new 2014 Star Wars Advent Calendar, #75056, and we’ll be taking a look at the ships and minifigures each day in December, leading up to Christmas.

This year’s set has a good mix of both Original and Prequel Trilogy characters and ships with Darth Vader playing Santa Claus.  The box is very colorful showing off the figures and sets that will be included.  When you open the box cover there’s a nice snow scene covering the calendar part of the box where the Lego are while the flap has sort of a Hoth base look to it with AT-AT prints in the snow and a hidden door to the Rebel base.

The first set for 2014 is a blue deco AAT Tank made up of 14 pieces which do an excellent job of representing the ship.
