Lego Announces Two New Ideas Sets
Lego has announced the results of their next Ideas sets: WALL-E and Doctor Who and Companions.
There were two Doctor Who sets up for review previously and after the last Ideas announcement it was mentioned that one or both were still being considered. It’s an excellent announcement for Doctor fans and a set we’re very much looking forward to.
The first announcement, however, is just as exciting. WALL-E, the main robot character from the Pixar movie of the same name, was built and submitted by Angus MacLane who works for Pixar and built the model during production of the movie.
Pricing and release info is not available for either set but chances are we’ll see them before the end of the year.
The next review period will end in May and includes nine sets:
- Avengers Helicarrier
- F-7A Hornet
- The Goonies 30th Anniversary: The Inferno
- Labyrinth Marble Maze
- The Natural History Museum: Creator Expert
- Jurassic Park
- Lord of the Rings: Minas Tirith
- Flying Ducthman
- Piano
