Gentle Giant Updates Release Schedule & Edition Sizes

Gentle Giant LogoGentle Giant posted a long list of upcoming releases and included Edition Sizes for about half of them, mostly those landing by February 2013.  They included other stuff besides the Star Wars items, which are posted below, and you can head over to their Facebook page for the rest.

The last item, the long anticipated R2-D2 Statue, has once again been postponed.  At this point, they should probably just cancel it.  It’s been over five years since we first saw the statue at Celebration IV in Los Angeles, and I believe it was announced sometime before that event.  At this pace, we’ll have a 1:6 scale R2-D2 from Sideshow before the Gentle Giant version ever sees release.
