Droid Builders
The Droid Builders have been attending Celebrations since the beginning, or at least Celebration II. At each event over the years, we’ve seen the technology going into the droids advance along with the rest of the world. From large RC controllers to apps on phones, manual wiring replaced by Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards, static torsos to those with opening panels and extending arms. While he was a big presence at Celebration Orlando, BB-8 and friends were a huge part of the Chicago display this year. It’s amazing the creativity that the Builders put into their droids and with technology always evolving, we can’t wait to see what they’re able to do next.
