The Star Wars #1 Wins Diamond’s 2013 Gem Award for Licensed Comic

Diamond Comic Distributors announced the winners of their 2013 Gem Awards and Dark Horse took home a top spot for “The Star Wars: Lucas Draft #1” which won the Licensed Comic Book of the Year.

The Gem Awards are picked by comic book specialty retailers and includes such awards as the Licensed Comic Book, Comic Book of the Year, Original Graphic Novel and Toy Line of the Year.  Gem Awards are also handed out for publishers and toy and game manufacturers.  A full list of winners can be found on Diamond’s website.
