Other chase cards include printing plates, Blue, Red and Gold parallels (numbered 350, 35 & 10 respectively), Medallions and five themed subsets making a total of 407 cards for a complete run.  On the plus side, each box will have two hits; a Sketch card and either a Medallion, Autograph, Dual Autograph or a Printing Plate.

Since I left off with the big Topps announcement from New York Comic Con, why not start our coverage with the rest of what they were showing off in their booth.

First up, a look at a couple of the color plates that Topps will be including in their upcoming Galactic Files Deluxe Print Plate Box-Set along with the 24 exclusive Galactic Files cards that can only be found in these sets.

Also shown in the booth was an old box of vintage wax packs and original artwork that was used for the backgrounds of the stickers in the vintage Topps cards.  The original artwork is currently on eBay and the bidding has been going pretty hard, a couple of them were over $100 as of the writing.  Head over to the TopsVault eBay store for links to the auctions.

We covered the details of the Deluxe Print Plate set in a previous post so make sure to check that out.

Topps Deluxe Print Plate Box-Set Sell SheetTopps announced a new exclusive to ShopTopps.com; Star Wars Galactic Files Deluxe Print Plate Box-Set.

The set, estimated to run about $499, will include a set of four printing plates from one of the Star Wars Galactic Files along with 24 exclusive Galactic Files character cards.  The set will ship in a faux leather case.

According to the sell sheet, pictured, these will ship later in November.

I forgot to ask if your purchase will be for a random set of the printing plates, but I’m assuming that it will be random.  I’ll ask tomorrow when I go back to photograph the exclusive cards that will be in the set.

Update:

We confirmed with Topps that the Deluxe Print Plate sets will be random, you’ll order and receive one of the 350 sets.  The price is $499, that’s not an estimate, and there will be a binder available for the set.  Look for the binder later this month or in November.
