There were a lot of companies and sights to see at Celebration VI but not all of them need their own post so this is kind of a catchall for various booths and attractions.

Between the official Celebration banner, 501st Rancor and the Belgium dioramas, there were a lot of photo opportunities for everyone, whether they were in costume or not.

Acme Archives The Art of Ralph McQuarrie Dave Dorman Jason Palmer Studios

Acme Archives ran not only the Art Show but also had a booth selling their exclusive art. Several artists, including Dave Dorman and Jason Palmer, had their own booths and were in good company near The Art of Ralph McQuarrie.

Cartamundi Booth Cartamundi Royal Flush Cartamundi Ace of Spades

Cartamundi gave away a set of Royal Flush cards and also sold framed sets along with “The Ace of Spaces Collection” which featured all the Ace of Spades cards from their playing card sets.

Camp Planner International Camp Planner International R2-D2 Chair Camp Planner International Death Star Beanbag Chair booth at Celebration VI

New to the Star Wars game, Camp Planner International had several styles of folding chairs along with an excellent Death Star bean bag chair in their booth.

Comic Images Super Deformed Plush Comic Images Backpacks

Fans of plush collectibles didn’t have to limit themselves to the store for a basket of baby Ewoks, Comic Images brought a huge selection of their deformed characters along with several styles of their backpacks.

Galerie, who makes novelty candy collectibles, had a large booth where they showed off all types of mugs and candy dispensers that you should be able to find around the holidays at stores such as Target, Walmart and Toys R Us.

Mimoco USB Flash Drives Super 7 Nerdist News

Mimoco brought a large selection of their USB flash drives while Super 7 showed off their Star Wars wallpaper and Nerdist Industries advertised their online video channel.

Schoolastic, Inc Booth Schoolastic, Inc Darth Vader Pop-up Schoolastic, Inc Millennium Falcon Pop-up Schoolastic, Inc Young Reader Books

Schoolastic, Inc was just one of the publishers in attendance and at their booth you could see their innovative 3D pop-up books along with early reader books and guides to Lego sets and minifigures.

The Prop Store Museum Replicas

The Prop Store had a large display of pre-production artwork, costume pieces and props on display and for sale while Museum Replicas touted their line of high end costumes and accessories.

Disney Carbon Freeze Me Experience Disney Store

Disney brought the Carbon Freeze Me chamber to Celebration and there were long lines all weekend of fans looking to be “frozen” in Carbonite.  They also had a store section to their booth where they debuted a new series of action figures, sold an exclusive Vinylmation Princess Leia and offered other park exclusives.

Finally, the Tattoo Show was busy all weekend with the buzz of ink going on fans and the Autograph Hall attracted fans of all ages with the opportunity to meet their favorite actors and actresses from the Star Wars saga.

Celebration VI Art Show Print Pre-order Reminder

Pre-order for pick-up of Art Show prints will go live tomorrow at 1:30PM EST on the Dark Ink website and run until August 15th.  The site now has previews of the prints and pricing information, including several prices we hadn’t seen before.

All prints are limited to 1 per person per artist and must be picked up at Celebration VI by showing  the order confirmation and a photo ID.  Artists appearing in the Art Show area will have 50 of their prints available at the convention, the rest will be available online beginning tomorrow.

There has also been a late cancellation, Scott Erwert will not be at Celebration and his print, “Galactic Empire,” will NOT be available.

Acme Archives Debuts Star Wars Celebration VI Exclusive

Acme Archives will have an exclusive Character Key available for Star Wars Celebration VI and it features everyone’s favorite, hapless bounty hunter, Greedo.

Acme is doing something a little bit different this time around.  The full edition size is 500 pieces with the first 200 being exclusive to Celebration VI and 201 – 500 being the “regular edition.”

The first 200 will have a gold name plate, alternate sketches and a uniquely colored stats box.  The 300 pieces in the regular edition will have the standard silver name plate to go along with its unique sketches and alternate colored stats box.

The Celebration VI exclusive is limited to 1 per person and beginning on August 1st there will be a pre-order for pickup at the convention.  Non-attendees will have an opportunity to order beginning on August 23rd.  The regular edition is limited to 2 per person.  Both releases are $39.

And don’t forget that the shared San Diego Comic-Con/Celebration VI Scout Trooper Character Key will be available also.  That piece is limited to an overall edition of 1,000 pieces.

Acme Archives will be offering pre-orders for pick-up at Celebration VI beginning on Wednesday, August 1st at 1:30PM EST.  Please read the FAQ that contains ordering information, dates, times and has the list of artists participating in this pre-order.

Only the artists appearing in the Art Show section of the convention will be covered, those with their own booths will be offering pre-orders on their own.  All pre-ordered prints must be picked up at Celebration VI, none of them will be shipped.

Celebration VI Art Show Update – Chris Trevas & Christian Waggoner

Update: Two more prints were posted this morning; Chris Trevas and Christian Waggoner. Chris Trevas brings us a fun look at Princess Leia and Han Solo from Return of the Jedi in “His Vision Returns,” while Waggoner puts a new spin on his Reflections artwork with Boba Fett “On The Hunt For The Great Chewbacca.”

Six new artists debuted their prints for Celebration VI on StarWars.com yesterday. Included in this round were Joe Corroney, Carlos Garzon, Eric Maell, Mark McHaley, Brian Rood and Doug Wheatley.

There are about 12 artists left to be shown and a few that have yet to announced a price and/or edition size. Head over to the Art Show page prices and photos for all the previews.

Acme posted pre-orders for pick-up of their San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Scout Trooper Character Key. The pre-orders opened yesterday and a will run until July 4th.

Starting on July 11th, non-attendees will have a chance to order them. July 11th will also see the opening of pre-orders for the new Speeder Bike Sketchplate which is a convention exclusive but not limited to SDCC.

Although San Diego Comic-Con is only a month away, we still haven’t seen all of the Star Wars exclusives that will be available during the show. But we are getting closer with today’s peek at Acme’s two new items; a Scout Trooper Character Key and Speeder Bike Sketchplate.

The Scout Trooper Character Key will be a shared exclusive between SDCC and Star Wars Celebration VI and runs $39. The Sketchplate, which is not exclusive, will debut at Comic-Con and online on July 11th, for $35.00.

Both pieces are limited to 1,000 pieces.

San Diego Comic-Con attendees will be able to pre-order for pickup beginning June 25th and closing July 4th. Non-attendees can order their Key starting July 11th with the order window closing on July 15th or if the Key sells out.

Orders for the Sketchplate will begin for everyone on July 11th. Head over to Acme’s website for photos and ordering information and keep an eye on DarkInk.com where the pre-orders will be offered.
