Sideshow Brings “R2-ME2” Art Exhibition to Star Wars Celebration

At past Celebrations, artists have been invited to customize Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Clonetrooper and Boba Fett helmets into unique pieces of art.  At this year’s Celebration Anaheim, Sideshow Collectibles will be hosting a similar project called the “R2-ME2” Exhibition at their booth.

The “R2-ME2” project will feature customized R2-D2 Deluxe 1:6 scale figures by over 90 artists.  Work in progress photos are being posted to Instagram with the hashtag #R2ME2. The photo above is from the Shiftett Brothers’ site.
