We found out about this new R2-D2 bank from CollectorsCantina.com by way of YakFace.com.

It’s by the Tin Box Company and is an Old Navy exclusive.  It’s only $5.50 and they also have a Darth Vader available.  The design is pretty straight forward but the graphics are solid all the way around.  The “legs” are a nice touch on R2 and while they’re also on Darth Vader, they don’t really hurt that design as they’re used as arms.  Both banks stand about 7-inches tall.

We found them near the front registers where they also had some Captain America and Spider-Man themed boxes.  There were also some lunchbox type boxes for sale, including at least two with Star Wars graphics on them but we didn’t stop to see if they were Old Navy exclusives or what the price was.

If you’re looking for a fun, last minute present for Christmas, you can’t beat these.
