New Star Wars Toys Shown at Disney Expo Japan 2015
Disney Expo Japan 2015 was held last week in conjunction with the Gift Show at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. Hot Toys, Takara Tomy, Takara Tomy Arts, Bandai and other companies displayed upcoming items from both the Marvel and Star Wars licenses.
Hot Toys showed off their upcoming 1:6 scale Darth Vader, Shadow Stormtrooper and Obi-Wan Kenobi along with the previously released Bespin Luke Skywalker.
Bandai was displaying models and action figures under their Tamashii Nations S. H. Figuarts brand, including Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. Models of an X-Wing and AT-ST joined a Space Warp toy shown off last year. They also had on display a piece of 3D wall art called a “Wall Figure” of R2-D2.
Tomy Arts had several new plush items including multiple scales of Yoda and Wicket along with plush key rings.
Finally, Disney also had their Mr. Potato Head Star Wars toys on display along with new backpack hangers in a smaller scale.
