Chris Wyman, of RebelScum.com, just announced that sculptor Brian Muir, who created Darth Vader’s helmet and the Stormtrooper armor for Star Wars: A New Hope, will be signing at Celebration VI.
He will be available from 10:00AM – 2:00PM Thursday – Saturday to sign autographs. You will need one standard $20 coupon for his autograph and there will be copies of his book, “In the Shadow of Vader,” for sale at the convention.
Most of the guests at the Official Pix Autograph Hall will be signing all four days of Celebration, but there will be a few guests limited to only two or three days and several that will be signing in between their various presentations.
So yesterday, to help you plan your weekend, Official Pix posted the four day schedule for all of the autograph guests, including times for breaks and photo ops.
Sam Witwer, who voices Darth Maul on Star Wars The Clone Wars, will be attending Celebration VI. Although he wasn’t previously announced, when the show schedule was posted Monday we found out that he will be holding a panel on Sunday, August 26th, from 1:30 – 2:30 on the Digital Stage (W415A).
There doesn’t appear to be any autograph schedule for him but fans of Sam’s, whether it’s as Darth Maul, Starkiller in the Force Unleashed games or Aidan on “Being Human,” will want to set aside time for his panel.
If you want to pre-order your autograph tickets for Celebration VI then you only have a couple of days left. Friday, August 3rd is deadline to pre-order online to secure your tickets. If you don’t order now you will have to pick them up at the show.
None of the special tickets have sold out yet but there’s still a possibility that Ian McDiarmid or Carrie Fisher could sell through as they have limited slots available. Also, Carrie will only be signing on Saturday and Sunday this year.
Head over to the Official Pix website for the full list of guests, pricing and photo choices as well as ticket purchasing.
Steve Sansweet will be attending Star Wars Celebration VI and displaying some of the wonders of his Rancho Ob-Wan collection. Displayed in a 600 square foot space, Sansweet will also be signing autographs and will have some of his books available.
For additional information, check out the announcement on StarWars.com and be sure to visit the RanchoObiWan.org website.
While it may not have been completely lost, there definitely wasn’t a huge impact yesterday when Mark Hamill was announced as an autograph guest for Star Wars Celebration VI.
StarWarsCelebration.com website has Hamill listed as being at Celebration for all four days and he’ll be appearing both on stage and in the autograph hall. Photos are not up yet, but OfficialPix.com has ticket pre-orders available for $125.
Official Pix updated their website with pricing information for the announced autograph guests at Celebration VI. Most of the guests will again be $20 which will also include an 8×10 lithograph. Additional 8×10, 11×14, 10×20, 16×20 and 18×24 photos can be purchased with the low end starting at $5 each.
Several of the special guests will have their own ticket and are priced higher than $20. They include Ian McDiarmid ($125), Carrie Fisher ($60), Anthony Daniels ($50), Kenny Baker ($40), Peter Mayhew ($30) and Tem Morrison ($30). Most guests will be there all four days but Ian will only be there Friday through Sunday and Carrie Saturday and Sunday only. Ashley Eckstein, who we believe hadn’t been announced previously, will charge $20 per autograph but will only be signing on Thursday and Sunday, as we’re assuming she’ll be busy with the Her Universe booth.
Ticket pre-orders will be available at a later date and some signers, including Ian and Kenny, will have limited ticket amounts available. We’d recommend pre-ordering tickets for any of the special guests just in case they sell out before the show. According to details on the Official Pix website, crowd control will be handled with numbered wristbands again this year and photo opportunities will be through Froggy’s Photos.
For full details on the autograph hall at Celebration, be sure to visit the Official Pix Autograph Program Overview website.
