If you missed out on some of the offerings from the Celebration VI store, you may be in luck; ThinkGeek now has several items available on their website.
Included are the talking Admiral Ackbar plush, Gamorrean Guard Piggy Bank, Tauntaun Hobby Horse, Jar Jar Whoopee Cushion, Salt & Pepper shakers and the Death Star paper lantern.
The prices are the same as they were in the store but now you’ll have to pay shipping. Not sure how limited these may be so if you’re interested, we’d advise heading over and putting in your order and not waiting too long.
Patches are a staple at Celebrations and this year was a banner year, there were at least five puzzle sets along with several excellent releases in the Celebration Store. But the individual fans really stepped up this year and knocked it out of the park.
I was honored to be one of the people with a patch to hand out or trade away and I picked up some really cool patches in return. Elvis Trooper had a 10th anniversary patch, Jason West had a new Mad Brownz offering (and pin! more on that later), the Mandalorian Mercs celebrated five years and Chewie’s Cargo Net teamed with Yoda’s Holonet to offer a nice 2-character patch.
The DC Star Wars Collecting Club, besides being part of the Fan Club patch, also offered a really cool Millennium Falcon shaped puzzle patch made up with pieces that represented seven of the club member’s own websites. The Fan Clubs had an animated style movie poster in six pieces and six Fan Sites joined on what was referred to as the Death Star patch.
The Celebration Store had the official Celebration VI patch along with several clever pieces, including Bossk’s Bail Bonds and Jabba’s Palace Maintenance.
Check out the photos below to take a look at just some of the patches we picked up over the weekend at Star Wars Celebration VI.
Cartamundi tweeted two new photos of their Celebration VI exclusives today. One is the Star Wars Ace of Spaces Collection and the other is the Episode I 3D Royal Flush.
Update: Cartamundi posted a price list for their Celebration excluisves and the Royal Flush set is $150 while the Ace of Space Collection is $250. Edition #1 of each will be auctioned on Twitter (@Cartamundi_USA) and matching sets of 2 – 25 will be available at the convention. Numbers 26 – 50 will be sold individually. Cartamundi will also be selling a selection of their playing cards. Stop by their booth, #320, for all the cool items.

Both sets are limited to 50 pieces and are framed. Prices should be released later today or tomorrow and we’ll update when we get them.
It’s become a tradition for several of the Fan Clubs to get together to give away an exclusive patch at Celebration and this year they’re at it again with the most ambition piece yet; a 6 piece patch that, when put together, creates a large Clone Wars themed piece of art.
This year the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS) has partnered with the Ohio, DC and Seattle collecting clubs, the Grand Florida Alliance and the Celebration Collecting Track.
Check out the press release below for more information, including booth assignments for where you can pick up your Celebration VI Clone Wars patch.
Six Groups Celebrate CVI with an Exclusive Patch Set
Five Star Wars collecting clubs along with the Celebration VI Collecting Track will mark Celebration VI by giving away sections of an exclusive 6-piece patch set. When assembled, the pieces form a Clone Wars themed movie poster. The poster features characters from all six movies of the Star Wars saga along with characters from The Clone Wars TV series. The clubs participating in this project are the Washington DC Area Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC), the Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club (OSWCC), the Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society (PSWCS), the Star Wars Grand Florida Alliance (SWGFA), the Seattle ARea Lucasfilm Artifact Collectors Club (SARLACC) and the Celebration VI Collecting Track. Lead designer Bill Cable of PSWCS conceived the idea for the patch, and completed the design with substantial assistance from leaders of the participating groups.
All six patches will be available exclusively at Star Wars Celebration VI and will be free to attendees. Because quantities are extremely limited, the patches will be given away one per person. Four clubs will be distributing their patch pieces at their Fan Group booths on the convention floor. Please visit their web sites for additional information about the clubs.

The United States Postal Service will be at Celebration VI on Thursday and Friday from Noon until 4:00PM where they will offer an exclusive Celebration Postmark.
The Postmark features R2-D2 and the Celebration VI logo. Celebration postcards will be available or you can mail your own letter to receive the stamp. Don’t forget that there’s also a Celebration VI postcard set available in the Celebration Store.
Disney Celebration VI Exclusives
It was announced on StarWarsCelebration.com a couple of weeks ago that Disney would be offering several exclusives at Celebration VI and now they’ve released some better pictures along with info on some debuts they will have at the convention.
Vinylmation fans will have the chance to purchase a hologram Princess Leia figure. It’s limited to 2,500 pieces and retails for $18.95. The figure is a variant of the regular Princess Leia figure which is part of Series 2 of Vinylmation figures which will also debut at CVI but be available at Disney Parks later.
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Star Tours, there will be a 2-pack of die-cast Starspeeders. Both the original 1000 and new 3000 versions are represented in the set which will retail for $19.95.
T-Shirt fans have a choice of two different designs, each featuring Disney characters as Star Wars characters.
The final item is a Star Tours nametag which will sport the name of a planet from the Star Tours ride, written in Aurebesh. The name tag was available at Star Wars Weekends but the badge at CVI will have new destinations that were not offered before.
Other merchandise, which isn’t exclusive, includes a new wave of Disney and Muppet characters at Star Wars characters. The neat feature this time around is that if you buy the whole wave you can build a figure of Goofy as TC-14. The new wave includes:
- Pluto as R2-D2
- Mickey as Anakin Skywalker
- Stitch as Yoda
- Minnie as Queen Amidala
- Donald Duck as Darth Maul
- Animal as Boba Fett
- Link Hogthrob as Han in Carbonite
- Scooter as Lando Calrissian
Disney is bringing the Carbon-Freeze Me experience to Celebration VI after its successful debut at Star Wars Weekends earlier this year. For $99.95, you can be scanned and turned into an 8″ tall Carbonite figure.
Finally, owners of iPhone 4/4s phones can take advantage of the G-Tech On-Demand printing experience. There will be 12 different designs to choose from and have printed on a custom iPhone case. Each case is $36.95.
Disney will be at booths 331 and 341 throughout the weekend of Celebration VI. Head over to their blog entry for additional pictures and information on all of the merchandise we’ve listed.
The Celebration VI website updated with photos of most of the store merchandise yesterday but they didn’t link the items to prices. We posted a pricing list last week but we’re updating today with a price list that links to the store photos.
There are a couple of photos still missing but we’re hoping they fill in over the next few days.
Giftware & Novelty
Prints, Posters & Signs
There were two items on the original price list that don’t seem to be posted anymore; Endor Camo Rain Poncho ($8.00) and Lightsaber Dueling Association shirt ($30.00).
According to the price list, there is also a deal if you buy the “I Love You” and “I Know” shirts together ($50.00).
If you’ve been waiting to get a look at the Celebration VI store merchandise then today is your day. The Celebration VI website updated with photos of most of the items that will be for sale in the store during the convention.
We just have two words to describe how cool some of this stuff is: Baby Ewoks.
You can check out the price list in our earlier post if you want to start putting together a shopping list and setting aside the cash.
DK Publishing Celebration VI Flyer
DK has posted a flyer with days and times for several events happening at their booth (#813) during Star Wars Celebration VI.
They will have a free print on Thursday, August 23rd and Sunday will be Kids’ Day where kids can receive a free DK Star Wars reader. Check out the flyer and follow them on Twitter, @dkpublishing, for updates on their Celebration plans.
Jedi News has the exclusive reveal on the final five Star Tots figures that will be given away during the Collecting Track panels at Celebration VI. The back of the card is also being revealed for the first time.
We do want to correct one piece of information we posted earlier; the figures will not be carded, instead they come in a blister pack that can be opened and has a bubble area for the Star Tot and room for the card back behind it.
